Presets – Promises (Lifelike remix)

Only yesterday I was revisiting the thoughtful, downbeat but strangely (and wrongly) ignored Pacifica album by The Presets, and listening to some of the past Lifelike remixes and thinking how that combination always delivers.

Well what do you know, there must be something in The Presets contract which says every album must have a Lifelike remix, and rightly so as this remix of Promises attests. Making a personal, fairly heavy song into an upbeat club stomper without becoming cheesy is not as easy as it sounds – and Lifelike delivers here.
