And following the 8-bit madness (I was planning a 8-bit show a while back, kind of wished I’d done it now, ahh that’s me, forever behind/in front of the curve, never in sync 🙁 ) on NME they posted about this Daft Punk 8-bit covers collective called Da Chip, and my robotic ears pricked up:
And the best part it’s available for free download on Mediafire or check out the description on Soundcloud. So is still Volume 1. Yay! Maybe NME wwill start covering interesting and diverse music again? After the hiphop wars of the 1980s they never seemed to totally recover…I hope so. Off to download/listen….
